The final week of Britain’s Got Talent auditions aired on Saturday, April 19
It’s was the final week of auditions of Britain’s Got Talent as Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, KSI, Bruno Toniolo and Alesha Dixon returned to judge the popular ITV competition show on Saturday night.
Returning to Blackpool, Series 18 of Britain’s Got Talent will reach the live show stage from next weekend – but in the final episode of auditions, one dance act has been compared to a former winner
Harry and Lewis danced for the people of Blackpool and are described by Britain’s Got Talent as “just a couple of lads on a mission to make a difference in the dance world”, but viewers have made a stark comparison between them and a previous dance act.
Britain’s Got Talent viewers are comparing Harry and Lewis to Twist and Pulse – a dance act who came in second place in the fourth series of the show, before going on to appear on Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions in 2019 and winning first place.
Over on X, formerly known as Twitter, @JoeyKay20 said: “They’re good but Twist & Pulse did this first #BGT”, and @rebeccahamptoxn added: “it’s giving twist and pulse, I LOVE”.
Coming from Manchester and the Wirral, @Rayflute2 wrote: “Twist And Pulse in a Northern style”.
On the Britain’s Got Talent YouTube channel, a clip from Harry and Lewis’ performance was shared, and some viewers have taken to the comments to share their reaction.
One viewer wrote: “Wow that is amazing i want to do that”, another said: “2025 brings twist and pulse pt2”, and one commented: “Good song choice”.
