The Hollies has announced its “poshest” collaboration yet
It’s Cheshire’s most famous and “poshest” farm shop, loved by celebrities and influencers including Molly-Mae Hague. Now The Hollies farm shop in Little Budworth has announced its “poshest” collaboration yet.
Issuing an announcement on April 1, bosses of the famed farm shop said that London department store Harrods is to open a food hall in colllaboration with them in Cheshire.
They shared a video of some of the “Harrods of the North” branded produce shoppers can expect to see in store, including caviar, truffle and artichoke sandwiches and, naturally, champagne.
The statement said: “We’re thrilled to announce our landmark collaboration with Harrods, bringing London’s finest to the heart of the countryside!
“The Hollies’ award-winning local produce will take center stage in this exciting new Food Hall, alongside Harrods’ world-famous fine foods—a perfect blend of luxury and local craftsmanship.”
It added: “The Food Hall will feature a carefully curated selection of premium meats, rare teas, and fresh patisserie, along with a bespoke farm-to-table concept celebrating the finest Northern suppliers.“This collaboration is set to make Cheshire the UK’s newest food destination, bringing world-class flavors to the countryside like never before.”

But naturally, given the date, followers were immediately highly suspicious of the announcement. It concluded by saying that the “highly anticipated Food Hall is set to open in Summer 2025”, before adding “for those marking their calendars, be sure to check the date…”
The shop is known for having a sense of humour about its “posh” credentials, and has fooled many with it’s April Fool’s annoucements in previous years.
Although many commented that it would actually be a brilliant collab for the shop. Swanminicabs said: “This actually needs to happen”, while houseofcosy said: “Wouldn’t that be everything though.”
Last year on April 1 The Hollies announced that a new TV documentary series about the farm shop, hosted by Molly-Mae Hague, was to go into production.
The year before there was a prank about a new airline being launched in the countryside surrounding the farm shop in the village of Little Budworth, near Tarporley in Cheshire.
