Gogglebox viewers were in hysterics on Friday night as Channel 4 star Mary Killen made a racy remark while watching Coronation Street.
Gogglebox’s Mary gets teary over Coronation
On the latest episode of Gogglebox, Channel 4 viewers were left in fits of laughter following Mary Killen’s comments during a Coronation Street clip.
The show began with audiences eagerly anticipating the reactions of their favourite couch critics, but it was Mary who stole the show as she witnessed a scene from the iconic soap.
Abi Webster, a character on the Coronation Street cobbles, experienced an unexpected proposition after a slight collision which led to a man suggesting an impromptu sexual escapade.
As the storyline played out, Gogglebox’s Mary didn’t mince her words as she was clearly unimpressed with the suggestion.
She remarked: “What makes you think I’d be interested in barnyard sex at such short notice?”

Her husband Giles shared in the audience’s astonishment, both at the Coronation Street plot twist and at his wife’s candid take on the situation, reports the Mirror.
Viewers were quick to hit Twitter with their amusement at Mary’s reaction, sparking a surge of tweets about the funny moment.
One viewer commented: “Mary calling that flirty Corrie scene barnyard sex is hysterical. She is odd but so funny. Why barnyard?? Lol.”

Since 2015, Mary and Giles have been entertaining Gogglebox fans with their witty banter, mild arguments and refreshingly honest opinions.
The couple has previously shared with Hello! how the show has positively impacted their relationship.
Giles revealed: “Working together on Gogglebox – watching telly at the same time – meant Mary and I suddenly no longer lived like two intimate strangers. It has definitely saved our marriage.”
Mary has also spoken about their dynamic, affectionately referring to Giles as a “retired man of leisure,” and playfully nicknaming him “Nutty” on the show.
