Thrifty finds from big brands will be available
A vintage pop-up charity shop will be coming to Greater Manchester for two weeks this month.
The British Heart Foundation will host a vintage kilo sale in Stretford where people will be able to find thrifty finds and sustainable clothing from some of the biggest fashion brands at bargain prices.
The pop-up will be taking place for two weeks from this Saturday (April 5) until Saturday, April 19. All proceeds from the pop-up shop will go directly to the charity, which helps fund vital research into cures and treatments for heart and circulatory diseases.
It will be located next to JD Sports in Stretford Mall and will be open between 10am and 4pm from Monday to Saturday and 10am to 3.30pm on Sundays. Items will be available at a set price per kilogram.
The first 50 customers to buy something from the pop-up, which is in collaboration with Bruntwood and Trafford Council’s Stretford Town Centre, on its opening day this Saturday will also receive a goodie bag to say thanks for the early support.
The pop-up will run separately to the British Heart Foundation charity shop already situated within Stretford Mall, which will continue to be open for the duration of the event and beyond.
Organisers for the event said: “The team at British Heart Foundation are taking over the unit right next door to JD Sports with a MASSIVE pop-up shop filled with thrifty finds and vintage goodies.
